Reshape is pleased to announce the Reshape Scientific Committee, a new Reshape apparatus/system composed by appointed profiles with expertise from Industry,  Academic and  Institution sector.

The organization of the Reshape Scientific Committee aims at consolidating the connection among talented designers with the Industry. The scientific committee represents a multidisciplinary ecosystem of Industrial, key-players, Research Institutions, Design and Market experts providing mentoring, career opportunities and inspiring talents to tackle emerging challenges shaping future market needs and applications. Together, the scientific committee represents an incredible opportunity to foster research, empower creativity, explore new design and manufacturing solutions, in a multidisciplinary environment projected towards training the next generation of technology leaders.

The Reshape Scientific Committee is composed of recognized experts, in the Industry,  Academic and Institution sector, which have been a fundamental part of the growth and consolidation of the Reshape program along the past years.

Valérie Bergeron 
Valerie will support Reshape to boost the Reshape talents by the dissemination of the emerging design as well as promote appropriate research and innovations.

Bradly Dunn Klerks
Bradly expert of technology and Innovation will support the Reshape platform to connect talents with the main market players.

Anastasia Pistofidou 
Founder of Fabtextile and Co-founder of Fabricademy will be representatives of the Academic to select talented designers that targeted  the mission of Reshape

Valérie Bergeron
Materials Library Manager at Materfad

Valérie is Architect DPLG in Architecture and Urban Planning by Ecole National Supérieure d’Architecture – Paris-la Défense. Since 2007, she is in charge of Materfad, materials centre of Barcelona, as Materials Library Manager, at the FAD, Fostering Arts and Design, a non-profit cultural institution dedicated to the promotion of design and architecture.

Valérie also coordinates, for FAD, permanent and temporary exhibitions related with Materfad is activities and  lectures on architecture, museography and innovative materials for different professional and educational programs. She works as an architect, museographer and industrial designer in her personal office in Barcelona, after having previously been established in Paris and Milan, and has collaborated with architectural firms in Milan, Paris and Barcelona (Gregotti Associati, Gae Aulenti and BB& GG arquitectes/Beth Galí) editing industrial design with FontanaArte, iGuzzini, Escofet and Santa& Cole and collaborating, as senior architect, in projects of museums such as Musée ;Orsay (Paris), Asiatic Art Museum ( San Francisco), Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris), Palazzo Grassi (Venice) and MNAC, Museu Nacional; Art de Catalunya (Barcelona).

Bradly Dunn Klerks
Graduated as a 3D visualising artist designer from the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts, Arnhem. Currently positioned as General Director of Iris van Herpen. The Couture Fashion label is well known for her innovative experiments with materials, techniques and technologies. Using interdisciplinary research and collaborations with a number of artists from various industries to create stunning work. He is responsible for all the IvH Couture shows, exhibitions and international media. His knowledge of the industry and long term relationship with several artist’s places him in a cross section between the business and the creative field that respects his vision and opinion that “the creative maker” is the centre where it all starts.

Anastasia Pistofidou
Founder of fabtextiles.org

Anastasia Pistofidou is a Greek architect specialized in digital fabrication technologies, design and education. She has a Master degree from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia 2010-2011 in Digital tectonics and a Bachelor Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Architecture in 2008. She currently works as the director of the Fab Textile research lab and the Fabricademy, A new Textile and Technology Academy. She combines the analogue and the digital towards applied research focused on new materials, art and textiles.
She is also a founding member of FirstV1sion.com, where she collaborated in the development of a wearable T-Shirt for sports, that integrates a camera with an HD transmission system.
Her artistic pubic interventions are through a multidisciplinary collective, Chinos International CC: an activist group of programmers, interaction designers, anthropologists and artists.
